Description: This picture has been painted so that it is reversible.

In one direction,  ‘black drop mountain’ shows mother nature rising from a churning stream, half her hair is brunette and half blonde. It illustrates how nature provides for human needs with trees that are topped with fruit and spoons that float in the river.

In reverse, a woman’s running down a dark tunnel towards the outside. Air, sunshine and mountainside become merely reflections in a lake and reality is lost. Limitations press down on the woman from all sides: thirst, hunger, despair. It shows how easily we can become disconnected from the natural world around us, seeing in tunnel vision.

The signature and names are on the bottom and top faces, not the front face.
