Description: A dragonfly is perched on a straw blade. It is painted onto canvas, using oil paint and coconut oil resulting in a very long drying time and an effective semi transparent background.

This piece nearly made it into the Society of Wildlife Artists 52nd Annual Exhibition at Mall Galleries, ‘The Natural Eye’ 2015. It got to the final viewing stage but never got hung, maybe next time!
